SES Innovation and Technology Day - Collaborating for a Connected World.  The conference therefore brings together established leaders in the European space ecosystem, SMEs, startups and innovators to explore new opportunities for partnership and open innovation.

SES is the world-leading satellite operator and the first to deliver a differentiated and scale-able GEO-MEO offering worldwide, with more than 50 satellites in Geostationary Earth Orbit (GEO) and 12 in Medium Earth Orbit (MEO).

An introduction to the National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme

The National Aerospace Technology Exploitation Programme (NATEP) is a £14.4m programme supported by £8m funding from Government via the Aerospace Technology Institute, with an aim to deliver 40 collaborative Research & Technology projects for the civil aerospace supply chain involving 100+ supply chain companies.  

This event will be a fantastic opportunity to meet with ADS, Scottish Enterprise, ATI and NATEP to expedite an application for Call 8 funding which will be closing soon. 

This free briefing and one to one clinic will give your company all the information necessary - and the opportunity to become a partner in one of these projects.

The event is held between 1 - 3 pm at co-organiser, Scottish Enterprise, Apex House, 99 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh EH12 5HD.

Now in its second year, DataFest will showcase Scotland's leading role in data on the international stage, while offering an unprecedented networking platform where you can interact with local and international talent, industry, academia and data enthusiasts.

PocketQube Workshop

22-23 March 

Following the succesful first PocketQube Workshop in Delft in 2017, a second PocketQube workshop is organized in 2018 and extended to two days of presentations. A principal organiser of this event is Scottish company AlbaOrbital.

PocketQubes are very small satellites, comprising of one or more cubic units of approximately 5 cm. They provide an excellent platform for demonstrating highly miniaturized space systems at low cost. In the future, vast networks of these tiny satellites may provide currently unforeseen applications.

ESA Space Engineering and Technology

18-19 June 

The Space Engineering and Technology Final Presentation Days is an event oriented to European Industries, Academies and ESA technical experts to present their achievements in developing advanced technologies for space missions.   This is a good opportunity ti make contacts with ESA Directorate of Technology, Engineering & Quality who drive technology innovation at the Agency.
