Reinventing Space Conference

24 - 26 October

The Reinventing Space Conference (RIS) is coming to Glasgow in the autumn; the first time in Scotland for 15 years.

The focus of the 2017 conference is novel applications (upstream and downstream) that are becoming commercially viable as space technology improves. This includes space tugs, space tourism, satellite refuelling, debris removal, debris exploitation, manufacturing in orbit, real-time video from space, space mining and space traffic.

The conference has historic links to the USA - and there has been a good US presence at previous RIS conferences.

Reinventing Space is offering a special Scottish Space Innovators rate to take part in the exhibition. Companies registered in Scotland with less than 10 permanent employees may exhibition at half price (£500 plus VAT).  Email This email address is being protected from spambots. This is a SNS event

29 November

Space Network Scotland is working with the Satellite Finance Network to provide an opportunity for suitable companies to pitch to relevant investors.

The diversity and dynamism of space companies in Scotland has probably never been higher - and that brings with it a need for more capital to furnish growth.

As London has a pool of investors increasingly knowledgeable about space, the meeting will be held in the prestigious Scotland House on the Thames Embankment.  The Satellite Finance Network has a track record of attracting the specific type of capital needed by the space sector.

If you would like to apply to present your company at this event, please get in touch with us at SNS.

Location: Scotland House, London
